Francis Monyango is a privacy and data protection lawyer based in Nairobi. He has over 9 years of extensive experience in technology law and policy, with a specialisation on privacy and data protection. He is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Fellow of Information Privacy accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Francis currently serves as the Group Data Protection Officer at Old Mutual East Africa. He also served as an IT and Data Governance Research Fellow at CIPIT, Strathmore University. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and has obtained certifications in Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
